What changes at the recommended tier?

The recommended column doubles memory from 8 GB to 16 GB and moves to newer six-core processor examples and stronger graphics hardware. Steam does not attach a resolution, frame-rate target or quality preset to either tier, so this page does not translate the list into a guaranteed 1080p or 60 fps claim.

Both tiers require DirectX 12, a broadband connection and 10 GB of available storage. The broadband requirement is listed even though single-player is also a store feature. The listing does not explain whether a connection is required for all solo play or only online features.

Important compatibility limits

Steam marks Windows as the supported PC operating system. A stray Linux requirements field seen in raw store data conflicts with the platform support flag and is not treated as a Linux release announcement. There is also no official Steam Deck compatibility rating in the reviewed evidence.

For console details, use the platforms guide. Xbox Store performance feature labels should not be used to predict PC performance because platform certification and PC hardware targets are different evidence sets.
